Improve Article Writing Skills

There are hundreds of writing websites on the Internet. Practically anyone can write, without being interviewed and no application. Simply register with the site, start writing and publish your work over the Web. The upside is that a writer can display his talents or, the downside; he demonstrates a rudimentary level of incompetence. More often than not, the latter is the case as the rules of grammar, writing, and punctuation are consistently violated.

Articles all over the Internet are poorly written by many who actually believe they are competent writers. There's room for improvement with every freelance writer on the web. The problem: if you don't consider yourself a bad writer, you will not pursue the tons of free assistance on the Internet. The art of writing cohesive articles takes practice and experience just like any other endeavor.

An e-Commerce website is a site that allows you to display and sell products directly from your website. E-commerce sites are equipped with products that your online customers can select from. As choices are made, online shoppers are able to place their items in a virtual shopping cart. When the shoppers are done, it's time to check out.

Some of the top e-Commerce sites are: eBay, Dash, Fogdog, Disney, and Drugstore.com. If you want to be successful with Internet marketing, creativity, usability and a user-friendly online presence is the order of the day. Otherwise your e-Commerce site is just like the other 500,000 or so sites on the web. This is why so many people who have online businesses are not having very much success because they don't have a marketable web presence. Their selling points are bland, mundane, and the antithesis of awe-inspiring.

The Antagonism of the Sexes

"Antagonism is hostility that results in active resistance, opposition, or contentiousness." Wikipedia. The title of this article pertains to the hostility that exist between the sexes. We love each other; we hate each other, that is the unfortunate theme of our existence. "Why can't we all get along?" Men need women and women need men. That is the simply fact, regardless of how you slice it, we need each other.

If you are a heterosexual male or female you need the opposite sex in your life in some capacity to provide mental, emotional, and physical stability. Try as you will, to eliminate the opposite sex from your life, and a major part of your being will suffer because of it.

In most cases you will experience this loss of synchronicity without your being aware of it. As you continue to neglect your inner sexual being, the consequences will manifest itself in various, negative ways.

Intimacy between human beings is part of our design. You can neglect this emotional need at your peril because ignoring this collective desire will reveal itself in a number of undesirable ways. It's tantamount to what happens when your body doesn't get enough water. You will experience headaches, joint pain, irritability, impatience, and other physical problems.

At the Bottom of the Well

I fell in a hole that turned out to be a Water Well. One of those Wells from days gone by used to access water in the ground. The Well sits in the middle of about half an acre. You've been warned to stay away, to be careful around this Well because there is no longer a canopy signifying that it's there. You only know it's there because of a few remnants left behind. Over the course of time it is covered by debris and it's an excavation that has long been unkempt and forgotten, but it's still there. Now, low and behold, you find yourself inexplicably, at the bottom of the Well.

At this point, it really doesn't matter how you got there. It really doesn't matter that there were warning signs that you've seen time and again. What matters and what is extremely critical for your immediate survival is how do you extricate yourself from this life threatening predicament? I cannot fly, or perform any other super-human feats, therefore I am going to need some assistance, but no one knows that I am here.

There are usually a combination of issues that placed you at the bottom of the Well. Many Americans can now relate to this analogy because their dire financial straits place them at the bottom of the Well. The reasons for this predicament can be quite complex and very simple. As we continue to try to find a way out, as there seems to be no way, we can go the scapegoat route.

We can blame the government, George W. Bush, the economy, our previous employer, predatory lending, whomever. There are many to blame because the scapegoat list is long, illogical, and it serves to stroke our ego, to give us an excuse, or maybe even a way out? Maybe not, because after your pity-party (which is what blaming others amounts to) you're still at the bottom of the Well.

At the core of your dilemma is You. The common denominator of all the probable reasons you are where you are at this very moment, is You. Look in the mirror and proclaim to yourself, "You got me in this mess, and you will have to get me out of it!" Plain and simple. You say to yourself, "there is no way humanly possible for me to get myself out of this quandary." In the secular sense, you are correct, however, your answer lies in the Spiritual realm. It's time to call on your Higher Self; that Inner Being that has always attached itself to the Divine.

Create the Reality of your Experience

One must understand that your current reality is enmeshed in your past, the way you have treated people, and the way you treat yourself. The "Law of Reciprocity" plays a major role in the reality one has  created, along with the fairness and spiritual equilibrium of the Universe.

Here are a few examples. Two of the greatest sports legends of our time: Muhammad Ali and Dale Earnhardt Sr. This author has always been a huge fan of both so what you're about to read is not about disparaging the legacy of either, in any way, shape, or form. The analogy will be made using the two sports icons careers as a method of pointing out how one's reality is created.

I'm a Spiritual Being experiencing an earthly existence. My sojourn here has aligned me with my biggest challenge thus far, and that is the awesome responsibility of being a single parent.

I'm a simple guy, a logical guy, and an individual that tries to "keep it simple." Life in itself is
"Drama" so to say what is often written about, on and off the Internet, "I don't like Drama," would be tantamount to saying that "I don't like life." I love life and it's how I deal with the unfolding drama that will determine the essence of my spirit, the quality of my earthly experience.

What a learning experience! And what better place to learn than this life, a life filled with "vicissitudes and hard lessons" and in the words of Oliver Wendell Homes, "those things that hurt, instruct!"

So let's enjoy our journey together.

Every human being has a unique set of fingerprints. Each and every one of us possesses an extraordinary amount of brain cells for the sole purpose of thinking and acting rationally. Some of us use the myriad cells for the greater good and, unfortunately, many use their biological mental prowess to aid in the downfall of humankind.

So how do you promote happiness in your life? It starts with self-respect. Without it, you get no respect from others. Start with respecting yourself; mind, body, and soul and mutual respect will follow. Any and every form of self-destructive behavior is a direct and concise form of self-loathing.

Surround yourself with positive people. Positive human beings are uplifting, joyous, and humorous. These are people who are fun to be around and more often than not are wise beyond their years. Stay away and steer clear of negativity. Negative people give off negative energy. This depressing energy can be contagious if you stick around too long. It’s better to be positive alone, than to be surrounded by negative, energy-draining individuals.

Immerse yourself in beauty and blissfulness. Promote and affirm joy. Too many people are indirectly promoting hate, negativity in various forms, and just plain absurdity. We highlight religious and political differences at every turn, which creates division. The adage, “United we stand, divided we fall,” has never been more true than what it is today. We reside in an atmosphere of animosity and greed and there’s only one way to circumvent it. Combat the melancholic aura that surrounds us with love. It’s the only way. Love is stronger than hate because it is our true nature. Hate only breeds more hate. Wars create more wars. All the major countries have nuclear capabilities so who will back down? United States? No. China? No. Japan? No.

You have a voice and that voice must emanate from the depths of your soul. Believe that one person can make a difference and that one individual is you. There’s no such thought as “falling short,” because the karma you create is divine, beautiful, and will pay dividends beyond your imagination.
